Creating a wholesome lifestyle with mindfulness and gratitude for families in Northern Westchester and Putnam Counties, New York

We are a small mixed-aged homeschooling group based in Northern Westchester, New York. Our gatherings take place indoors & outdoors, rain or shine!GATHERING CALENDAR
We meet for about four hours, once per week, from September to June. We have two breaks during the year. Winter break (two weeks during holidays) and Spring Break (two or three weeks at the end of February). Classes end at the end of May, but we have a little end of year gathering with a year book to reflect on our year together to close out our year in June. We are off in July and August. Each month, families are emailed the upcoming schedule as weekly gatherings are organized one month at a time. Families are asked to commit to the entire academic year.AGE REQUIREMENT
For academic year 2026 to 2027, we welcome actively homeschooling families with children ages 3 to 4 to reach out. This is not a drop-off program or school. This is a space for homeschooling families to learn and grow together.
Our homeschooling group is more than just a space for early childhood learning. We are a space for families passionate about conscious living. We focus on nature-based and social emotional learning supported by a licensed social worker. To build a stronger connection with our environment and a resilient love for nature, we encourage children to be curious and explore! Children should dress ready for nature’s mess.Trees will be climbed,
dirt will be dug,
puddles will be splashed,
and laughter will be had.COMMITMENTS
We ask families to put their screened devices (smartphones, tablets, etc,) on silent or airplane mode and away during gatherings as it is known to disrupt the learning process.Embracing nutritious foods is a commitment we share in our collective to expose our little ones to a regular lifestyle full of fresh foods. In a culture of sugar and snacks, we are taking a different stance. In our gathering space, we ask parents not to bring any artificial or processed foods or snacks. What’s growing this season? A simple rule of thumb is if the food doesn’t rot after a few days, it’s probably artificial or processed. We love foods with a natural expiration date!Building community is another important part of our homeschooling mission. We organize opportunities for families to volunteer in the community together.Photography
Parents can take photos using phones at times but please do not post any on social media or any online platform. We will gather photos taken to make a year book at the end of the year.
